I must apologize again for not blogging for about six months.
Work and training have got in the way.
The race season has come and gone in the Middle East. It runs from October to April-ish (depending on how soon the sun
decides to crank up the thermostat), which is always a bit of a head-messer. When everyone is the UK is winding down, we in the desert are revving-up.
I have actually got a series of blogs, written up from the last race season which I will gradually upload. It was an interesting season of fun, falls, and a blessed-win. Injuries were managed – thanks to the amazing team at Qatar’s specialist sport hospital – Aspetar,
and the A-race plan came together.
As June motors on, my hubby Steve and I are currently putting the last minute touches on our training for Al Andalus Ultimate Trail (Spain), which kicks off in about 20 days. This 230km 5-day staged ultra is simply amazing. We were so impressed in 2013, that we’ve decided to put ourselves through it all again. An opportunity not to be missed.
Anyway, without further ado, I’m going to sign off to start prepping the next series of blogs.
